Representative verification

Prove access first. Staff approval remains separate.

A successful check can support authority to submit factual updates for one profile. It never approves products, official links, rankings, service quality, or Brandifind's public conclusions.

Automated proof checks

Brandifind checks the live proof itself.

Challenges are random, expiring, scoped to one profile and method, attempt-limited, and single-use after a match.

  1. Domain email code

Brandifind sends an expiring one-time code to a work email on the official website domain.

Inbox code matched by the server
  2. DNS TXT record

The workspace creates a random, expiring record value. Brandifind resolves public DNS instead of accepting a copied value.

    Server-side DNS match
  3. Website meta tag

The workspace creates a random, expiring tag. Brandifind checks only the official HTTPS origin with redirect and private-network protections.

Manual evidence review

Public links can be reviewed without pretending they are automated proof.

A reviewer may ask for a stronger method when the public relationship is incomplete or ambiguous.

  1. Official social profile

Provide the public HTTPS profile and explain where the brand relationship is visible. Brandifind does not connect to the account or automatically prove account control.

    Manual staff review
  2. Official evidence links

Provide public HTTPS links and a concise explanation. File upload and protected-document storage are not available in this release.

    Manual staff review

Two distinct decisions

A proof match is not representative approval.

  1. Proof statusThe automated challenge matched, or manual evidence was submitted.
  2. Staff decisionBrandifind reviews scope, profile identity, and authority before approving a representative.

Only the second decision can unlock the representative-verified badge.
